Do you wish you could get rid of that belly fat quickly, once and for all?

Being overweight, and especially storing excess fat around your waist, is dangerous to your health, so it really needs to go fast!

What you need to realize is that there are no shortcuts to losing body fat. Many of us want immediate results – everything needs to happen right now! Many products advertised today offer “quick lose weight” solutions in a can or magic powder, but is the weight going to stay off? Sadly, usually not.

People who choose to lose weight by these extreme methods will usually quickly gain back the pounds they lost, and even add some more weight on top of that. To really lose weight for good, and keep it off forever, you need to make some radical changes to your diet and lifestyle.
Loosing weight

Step 1: What are the causes of belly fat

Eating more calories than you can burn day in day out will result in the accumulation of fat in the whole body. The belly is one of the areas, especially for women, that tends to gain more fat and as a result the protruding belly is formed. Sedentary lifestyle, lack of physical activity and overeating of foods high in fats and sugars make weight gain even faster. Women over 45 are more prone to gain weight around the waist because of the hormonal changes their body undergoes during menopause. Thus trying to lose belly fat is harder for women requiring a lot more effort and patience.

Step 2: How to reduce overall body fat

There are no diet programs or spot-exercises that can target fat in the stomach alone but instead by reducing the proportion of fat from the body will eventually give you a flatter stomach.

The primary factor to losing weight is, of course, your diet.

You may have already tried to eat fewer calories, but the thing is your body will adapt to whatever you do, so if you eat fewer calories than your body requires for its mass (which is about 10 calories per pound) your body will slow down its metabolism to make do with less.

That is why you need to eat a normal calorie diet without starving yourself or restricting yourself unnecessarily.

For easy weight loss and achieving optimum weight (and health), you should be eating mostly fresh, RAW plant foods – that includes lots of fruits, vegetables and greens.

Make salads, get yourself a quality smoothie blender (Vitamix or Blendtec are best) and drink green smoothies every day (smoothies made from sweet fruits and greens, such as spinach, kale, and other), steam some vegetables, or make a vegetable soup.

Consume at least 70% (or even more) of your calories from these sources and you will notice magical results!

Also, remember to avoid full fat food, junk food, processed food and full fat dairy products. It is best to choose low fat alternatives, natural plant foods.

Your unwanted pounds will begin to melt away from your waist and other body parts and your chronic health problems will begin to disappear one by one.

2. The second factor is drinking lots of water to keep your body hydrated and remove toxins.

I’m sure you heard this one before, too. But are you already doing it?

Limit or stop drinking those sodas, energy drinks, artificial juices, coffee, tea, milk, etc. and replace them with water.

Step 3: Best exercises to lose belly fat

The third factor is – you guessed it – physical exercise.

And I’m not just talking about doing abdominal crunches – or any other spot exercise routine for your belly fat. This will not work, because even if you get a beautifully ripped six pack – it will not be visible under the fat you have on your belly.

Initially, the best exercises to lose belly fat are not ab specific exercises but it is a combination of cardio exercises that can help you burn calories and fat and strength training exercises that will help you build more muscles and reduce the overall percentage of fat from your body.

To really burn off a lot of belly fat you need to do activities that engage the whole body – walking, jogging, swimming, playing tennis, whatever you like.

I also highly recommend doing a strength training routine a couple of times per week. You can choose to do it at the gym with the exercise equipment that is there, or with a couple of dumbbells at your home. Another option, is learning some body-weight exercises – these are exercises that increase your muscle strength and can be performed anywhere without any equipment.

Increasing your muscle mass will increase your metabolism – so you will burn more calories even when you are sitting on the couch watching TV!

Once you have reached a level where the fat percentage in your body is lowered you can then begin doing crunches and other abdominal exercises to strengthen your belly muscles and get a gorgeous six pack.

Step 4: How fast can I get rid of stomach fat?

Most people are impatient, therefore a common question that many people have when they are trying to lose belly fat is: How long it will take me to lose belly fat? What is the fastest way to reach my goals?

Unfortunately no one can give you a definite answer to the above question because this depends on your determination, how much weight you need to lose, whether you are able to stick to your weight loss routine, as well as your individual body type, gender, fitness level and health condition.

While there are many guides out there on how to lose belly fat in 2 weeks or how to lose belly fat in 1 week but these are just examples on how you can jump start the process and not realistic scenarios of what you can achieve. Don’t be overanxious, just stick to your routine and it will happen!

How to lose belly fat for women

Many women to have problems with belly fat. The main reasons are the hormonal fluctuations that our body goes through, such as period, menopause and pregnancy. Besides the negative body-image that belly fat creates it also increases the risk of various diseases like heart problems, diabetes and some forms of cancer. For many women the occurrence of fat in the belly makes them feel uncomfortable about their body and this has a negative impact on their confidence and self esteem.

While the reasons for accumulating fat in the belly area may be different for women that for men, the steps needed to taken to get rid of that fat are the same for both men and women.
