Weight Loss Secret Tips: 8 Things you do NOT have to do when trying to lose weight naturally
Although it may certainly seem that the natural and mostly raw food approach to healthy weight loss that I recommend on this website is quite restrictive, there are many things you will not have to worry about when being on this type of diet.
Plus, the long term health benefits that you will likely start experiencing soon – if you stick with it – will quickly out-weight all the discomforts of being on this type of diet.
Here are some weight loss secret tips for you (of course, these are not really a secret – you probably know most of this stuff already – let them serve more as a reminder).
Quick Weight Loss Secrets Revealed: 8 Things you do NOT have to do when trying to lose weight with natural approach:

- You will never count calories, fat grams, or carb grams, or measure food (unless you want too).
Conventional dieting is for most of us nothing short of sheer torture. You feel hungry and grumpy most of the time, you can’t eat anything that tastes really good (not in satisfying quantities, anyway), and you are constantly craving food you know you shouldn’t have.
Eating great-tasting, satisfying food is our birthright, and so is a gorgeous, slim and healthy body.
It is a mistake to think that these two are mutually exclusive. If you still insist on knowing how many calories you consume and burn during the day, you may want to buy yourself a Gowearfit armband, which is an alternative to Bodybugg device, made popular by the Biggest Loser show.
- You will see results even without exercise.
Of course, our bodies do need lots of activity for optimum health and weight loss, but those of you who think you have to be a slave to an exercise regimen to maintain your ideal weight are in for a great news: you CAN reach your perfect shape without any formal exercise routine, buying expensive exercise equipment or joining the gym.
- You will not have to become a vegetarian if you don’t want to.
Even though becoming a vegetarian and adopting vegetarian diet is best for your health and the health of our planet, if this is too hard for you, you can still enjoy meats, fish, and dairy products. However it is advisable to eat only fresh lean good quality meats, poultry and fish (organic or free-range is best).
Also, avoid preserved meats such as salami, pepperoni, provolone, sausages, hot dogs or hamburger meats.
- You do not have to become obsessive about using organic foods, or avoiding all fast foods.
It is important to enjoy life and the stress of trying to be perfect will weaken your immune system and make you more likely to blow your new found good habits completely.
As long as you purchase fresh fruits and vegetables and eat lots of them every day, you will achieve the desired results.
- You do not have take any expensive tablets or supplements.
Taking them will only overload your liver and produce expensive urine.
When you are eating nutrient-dense foods you don’t need to spend money on appetite suppressants, “miracle” weight loss pills, vitamins, detox supplements, acai berry wonder pills and other.
- You do not have to purchase expensive kitchen appliances.
On this website I do recommend getting a good blender, such as Vitamix or Blendtec – it will make switching to more natural diet much easier and more enjoyable.
However, if you already have a blender or if you are on a budget, you can skip this step for now, or just get a basic juice extracting machine or an inexpensive blender.
- You will NOT have to perform any harsh “cleansing” and “detox” routines, including colonic irrigation, enemas, or colon cleanse (read my post “Colon Cleansing Diet versus Colon Cleanse Products.”
Constipation is the most commonly cited reason for people to take colon cleansing supplements and have colonic irrigation. However, constipation is the effect of a worn-out, overstimulated colon. This condition is caused by consuming too much of the the wrong foods, and other dietary and lifestyle mistakes. Harsh colon cleansing products, enemas and colonics stimulate and irritate the colon, and wear it out even more. Thus, these procedures may actually contribute to constipation – if after the procedure the patient goes back to the old unhealthful habits.
Of course, there are much better ways to deal with that problem by removing the cause, instead of only treating the symptom.
- You may find that you do not have to see your doctor as often, because you will not get sick as much as you used to. You may find that your chronic ailments slowly disappear, you have more energy and feel younger.
When looking for the quickest way to lose weight, remember that process of losing weight takes time.
It probably took you years or decades for us to put on those extra pounds with our unhealthful practices. When we try to lose weight quickly and wish to lose those extra 10, 20, or 50 pounds as fast as we can, and there is a great temptation to try and hasten the process. Having the patience to allow our body the time it needs is the best assistance we can give it.
There is much more to losing weight than shedding the unwanted pounds. We need time to discard old beliefs, and, most importantly, we must learn how to respond to emotions that motivated us to overeat, and to change those habits. None of this happens overnight.
Remember: The best weight loss and cleansing strategy is to stay positive, do the best you can, make fresh fruits and vegetables your staples, and work toward eating at least 70% (or more) plant food RAW or lightly cooked.
